Our Team

Rachael is the Centre Manager of Browns Bay Preschool and is passionate about providing high-quality education and care to babies, toddlers, and pre-school aged children.
She is First Aid Certified.

Judi has been a qualified teacher since 2001. 
She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase). She is First Aid Certified and is Fully Registered in New Zealand.

Glynnis brings 37 years of teaching experience, including 13 years as a Centre Manager.

She holds a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education and is fully registered as a teacher in New Zealand.

Lijun (Katrin) is a qualified, registered Early Childhood Teacher who recently joined our team. As both a teacher and a parent of a preschooler, she brings warmth, understanding, and a genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development. Lijun is First Aid registered.

Chelsea has been teaching for 10 years.
She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase) and Postgraduate (Honours in Learning Support). She is First Aid Certified and is Fully Registered in New Zealand.

Himani has been teaching for 5 years.
She holds the Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Education and Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching. She is First Aid Certified and Fully Registered in New Zealand.

Hayley has been teaching for 5 years.
She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching). She is First Aid Certified and is Fully Registered in New Zealand.

Heather is an unqualified teacher and has previously taught in the UK. 
She holds the certificate: NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare and Level 2 Hygiene and Safety for Catering. 
She is First Aid Certified.

Arlene prepares nutritious meals and snacks for our tamariki and provides support with sleep routines, toileting, nappy changing, first aid and the children's wellbeing throughout the day. She has been working in New Zealand for six years and is First Aid certified.

Mariette returned to work at Browns Bay Preschool after relocating back to Auckland in 2025. She is a dedicated reliever and provides cover when our teachers take annual leave or sick leave.
