Our team at Browns Bay Preschool is a group of passionate, experienced educators dedicated to supporting children’s growth, learning, and development in a caring environment.

Centre Manager & Qualified Kaiako

Yvonne Haviland

Yvonne is the Centre manager of Browns Bay Preschool. She is also actively part of the Kaiako team. 
She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase). She is First Aid Certified and is Fully Registered in New Zealand.

Qualified Kaiako

Tasmin Jooste

Tasmin has been teaching for 5 years. 
She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase). She is First Aid Certified and is Provisionally Registered in New Zealand.

Student Kaiako

Stacey Mills

Stacey supports the teaching team part-time while completing her degree. 
She is in her first year of study: Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education. She is First Aid Certified.

Student Kaiako

Savannah Van Zyl

Savannah is working part time while completing her degree. 
She is in her first year of study: Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education. She is First Aid Certified.

Curriculum Leader & Qualified Kaiako

Judi Hamilton

Judi has been a qualified teacher since 2001. 
She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase). She is First Aid Certified and is Fully Registered in New Zealand.

Qualified Kaiako - Infants & Toddlers

Himani Jogia

Himani has been teaching for 2 years.

She holds the Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Education and Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching. She is First Aid Certified and Provisionally Registered in New Zealand.

Kaiako - Infants & Toddlers

Heather Haynes

Heather is an unqualified teacher and has previously taught in the UK. 
She holds the certificate: NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare and Level 2 Hygiene and Safety for Catering. 
She is First Aid Certified.

Qualified Kaiako

Chelsea Kloppers

Chelsea has been teaching for 7 years.

She holds the degree: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase) and Postgraduate (Honours in Learning Support). She is First Aid Certified and is Provisionally Registered in New Zealand.

Qualified Kaiako - Infants & Toddlers

Arlene Pretorius

Arlene works with the infants and toddlers and has been teaching in New Zealand for 2 years. 
She is First Aid Certified.
